Our dedicated team of professionals provides the recruiting, credentialing, contracts management, customer liaison, and employee support services at all locations and facilities we serve. GHSD's core competency is permanent placement or long-term contractual arrangements.

Credentialing and Privileging
Credentialing is the collection of documents that constitute evidence of qualifying education, training, licensure, certification, experience, and expertise of health care providers. Credentialed persons required to be licensed, but who are not privileged providers are:
Clinical Privileging is the process whereby a healthcare practitioner is granted the permission and responsibility to independently provide specified medical or dental care within the scope of his or her license, certification or registration.

Clinical Privileges may be granted to the following practitioners:

Chesapeake's Credentialing Process is a comprehensive process providing verification for the initial application. The goal is to present to the customer verified applicant credential files that are complete and lead to the approval of the applicant for employment. The process involves Primary Source Verification of the following
(appropriate to the position) from the primary sources:
- A current, valid state license to practice
- Professional Education and Training
- Professional Experience
- Board or other certification
- Residency certification
- National Practitioner Data Bank/HIPDB Information
- BLS/ACLS/BLS or other life support certifications
